Ayame was back at her cabin. She had escaped from whatever that had been. It was 20 years later, but the time passed in a blur. She ate. She slept. And whatever this part of her was, this creature, she had not seen it again after that day, but she thought it was still there. Ayame wasnt sure how the time had seemed to pass so quickly, but it had, and Ayame decided she needed to do something, anything. She wasnt sure what it was, but time couldnt go on forever without something happening.

Conner was asleep on the couch in the cabin Blacier owned. He rolled over and moaned at the same time and fell off the couch. He yelped and jumped up, looking around. He dusted himself off and stretched. Looking around once more, he began to walk towards the door. When he opened a door, another wolf stood there. It was anthro like Conner was. He had light reddish brown hair, dark brown fur, blue eyes with the background yellow, light and dark blue chest armor, and dark blue pants with yellow strips and red pockets. He smiled at Conner
"Hello Conner, i'm looking for your grandpa" Conner tilted his head
"Who are you, how do you know who i am, and why do you want him?" The wolf laughed and shook his head
"My name is Sora, i know you because your grandpa spoke of you often, and he is an old friend of mine" Conner laughed
"Pfft, you do realize hes a pure dick, right?" Sora tilted his head as well
"What do you mean?" Conner pulled Sora inside and slammed the door shut. He turned to face Sora
"Kane has become evil, not sure how, but he has been out to get me for hundreds of years.." Sora looked up
"Has it been that long since i was here..?" He then looked back at Conner
"We need to find him.." Conner shook his head
"Hell no! I ain't dying again.." Sora tilted his head once more
"What do you mean?" Conner sighed
"When i die, my body turns to ash, and then a new born me is formed out of the ash.. At least that's what everyone says.." Sora tilted his head the other way
"You get reborn?" Conner nods "Ah, ok.. We still need to find him.. If he became a Heartless, i can easily fix it" He stuck his right handpaw out and suddenly a key-looking weapon appeared. It had a gold square-like handle, and a silver blade. Conner gasped
"You have one too!?" Sora tilted his head, once more.
"What do you mean?" Conner stuck his right handpaw out and a wolfish looking sword appeared in his hands. A wolf head was the tip and the body was a wolf's body. Sora smiled.
"Fellow wielder i see" Conner nodded. Sora smiled wider, showing his fangs
"Perfect"

Ayame hit the floor with a loud thud. Standing up, she glanced around the area, taking it all in in a single swivel of her head. She wasnt sure where she was, but it didnt matter. Ayame sprinted towards the woods, where she felt she could be safe.

Blacier heard a jaw snap shut and accidentally let go of Ayame, making her fall. He watched her hit the floor hard. Conner ran to her, but Blacier stuck an arm out in front of the pup to stop him from going any further.
"No son, just no"

Ayame was drifting in and out of consciousness. It felt like she was floating. Everything was dark. Ayame pried open her eyes. She felt arms around her, carrying her possibly. She bit into whatever was binding her, as hard as she could.

Kane laughed at the female and walked closer to her
“It seems you are my bitch now!” he laughed and picked her up. Conner slowly stood up and growled. Kane looked over his shoulder at him, dropped the female, and turned to face him. Conner growled louder
“Leave her alone you big meany!” he barked and lunged at Kane, who vanished. Conner rammed right into the dresser next to the door and yelped. He rolled over and looked around, Kane was gone. Blacier was in the doorway, looking at the lifeless body of Ayame. He walked over to her and knelt down. Conner crawled over and stared at her. Blacier turned his head
“There you are… You should never leave the cabin, it is far too dangerous for you out here little one.” Conner nodded slowly
“Sorry daddy” Blacier sighed and looked back at Ayame.
“Now what to do about this…” Blacier grabbed her and stood. Conner slowly stood at the same time Blacier did. They both turned and walked out of the cabin with the female in Blacier’s arms.

Ayame watched as Kane threw the pup across the room. that made her blood boil. The pups name was Conner, that's what he had said. The name was one from before... Conner. Ayame felt her anger building up. She fell to her knees on the ground, and held her stomach. Kane had turned and faced her. She slowly looked at him. Her face began to grow out an inch. She screamed in terror as she saw a muzzle on her face. Conner had sat up and stared at her with his jaw dropped. Kane smiled. Ayame looked back down, seeing claws popping out of her shoes. She screamed louder in terror and pain. She felt her legs pop backwards and yelped in pain as she fell onto her stomach. Slowly, pink fur began to grow all over, a pink fluffy tail began to grow from her behind, and big tall and pointy ears grew from her head. She fell flat on her stomach and passed out.

Blacier landed in front of his cabin and folded his wings. He opened the cabin door and dropped the deer that was in his paws. He scanned the cabin and growled
"DAMNIT CONNER!" He turned and ran off, leaving the deer in the doorway. He opened his wings and flew in the air, scanning the ground for the pup, hoping Kane didnt get to him.

Watching in the shadows of a chimney. A sister checked up on a project that she had ongoing. It was pleasing to her that the two had found each other again. And that her hand need not to be played once more. The gift that she had given to them would bring them peace for a little while more. As she watched the happy exchange; a dim, faded memory pulled on the surface of her heart. Surprised that she still had a heart, the sister went to it. Happiness flowed threw her from the soft sounds to gentle touch of her mothers hands. But it wasn't long before her masters call slammed into her soul, breaking the memory and putting flames to soul. He was calling for her. But a call that strong wasn't just for her it was for all of her sisters. Something was wrong and if it had anything to do those that wanted to break the balance. Then Kane was back. And that could prove disastrous for the two down below. As the pain grew the sister jumped off the building. Wings snapped open and breathes of fire rained down. The two where gone to a place that she was not allowed. The Master was calling. And The Master must always be obeyed.

Kane was in her bedroom, standing in the doorway, smiling.
"AHA, I found him!" He reached and grabbed the pup and threw him against the wall on the other side of the room. He began to walk closer to the pup laughing
"YOUR GONE CONNER! GONE FOREVER!"

Ayame giggled at the pup, and walked briskly towards her cabin. She was sure that if anyone caught her she would have too much to deal with. She soon reached her house, and carried the pup up the stairs to her room.

Conner just stared at her for a while before answering. He slowly nod.

Ayame couldn't help but smile as she picked up the cub. He had said hi to her, and it made her want to giggle like a child again. She held him in her arms, and cuddled him close, trying to make him stop shivering. He was cold... What was he doing walking around in the village? normally the young were kept inside. She sighed. He was not exactly human, so that was most likely why he was not inside. Maybe he didn't have a home. Ayame tried to talk to him. "Would you like to come with me little one?"

Conner looked up at the female as she walked closer to him, he began to whine as she picked him up. He smiled and slowly licked her nose
"Hai" He spoke in a cute, babyish voice. He began to shiver. He never found out that Kane had turned her into a dangerous creature.

Ayame shook her head, not seeing anything near the cabin. She turned abruptly away, snorting, and laughing at herself. Ayame walked through the village, as she had been before. Behind her, she thought she heard footsteps. Spinning around, Ayame's gaze fell upon an animal. He was trying to walk towards her, and he tripped. Ayame felt her mouth drop open in amazement. he looked oddly familiar. Running over to the pup, Ayame helped him up off the ground. Looking into his eyes, she thought he was very similar to someone of her past, Conner from that night... could it be? Ayame brushed it off as coincidence and wondered if the pup was cold.

The pup noticed that she didnt see him, so he decided to follow her. He walked away from the cabin, something he was forbidden to do, and followed her. He smiled remembering her reaction when she first saw him a year ago. The pup tripped, yelped, and fell on his face. He leaned up and looked in the direction she was in. Hopefully she would see him now.

Ayame walked through her village, once again feeling the solitary feeling, a feeling that had been disrupted almolst a year ago. Everything had happened too quickly, and it had been so confusing, Ayame sometimes wondered if it was a dream. Maybe, she thought, but maybe not. But as for now, she figured that it was over. Ayame was doing the best she could to survive, and she tended to sleep in the darkest corners of the village. but she needed water, so she was off to the well near the towns center. For some reason, Ayame could survive on what little food she could hunt in the woods. It wasnt much, but it was enough. None of the people in the village seemed to come out that much, just as it had always been. She knew they were there; for she could see the movements from the corner of her eye, from a closing curtain. Ayame saw one of those movements today, off to her right. She immedietly looked, to see if she could catch someone staring at her, but she didnt see anything. Feeling a tingling feeling of nervousness, she walked on. She saw another movement, and spun back towards it, her butterflies growing. She knew someone was there, watching her. Usually it didnt make her uneasy, but today was different. Ayame crept toward one of the cabins, that she assumed was the source. As she got closer she could see that it was like any of the other houses here, maybe just a little bit smaller.

Blacier ran off to look for Ayame, but ran into Canidane instead. Blacier smiled
"I've been looking for you Canidane...” Canidane growled and lunged at him. Blacier took a step to the side and Canidane missed, falling right into the mud. Canidane growled again and slowly stood, facing Blacier. Blacier smiled
"Say goodbye!" Suddenly Blacier stuck a handpaw out and dark purple smoke flew from his handpaw and rammed into Canidane, who yelped and flew into a tree. Blacier walked over to Canidane and smiled as Canidane's eyes slowly closed. Blacier began to laugh as he saw Canidane’s body turn to ash. He turned around and began to walk away. He suddenly stopped and looked over his shoulder as he heard yipping. He quickly turned to see a pup lying in the ashes. He tilted his head and walked closer, picking the pup up. He dusted the pup off and gasped. The pup looked exactly like Conner. Blacier smiled and patted the pup on the head
“Come on you, let’s take you home” Blacier smiled as the pup licked him on the nose. Blacier turned and walked off, the pup in his arms.

One year later, Blacier raised the pup by himself in the village. Blacier took an empty cabin near where the entrance of the village was. The pup may have been 7 in wolf years, but in human years he was only 1. The pup was sitting on the couch, eating a deer leg. Blacier was out hunting for the two. The pup set the deer down and his ears perked up. He smelled something, something familiar. He slowly rose and walked out the door, sniffing the air. He turned to the right and gasped. He saw Ayame in her human form walking by.

Ayame let her head hit the wall with a dull thud. She was still drifting in and out of consciousness, not able to understand what was happening, and not really trying. Then all at once, the scene around her was frighteningly clear, clearer than it had been in her entire life. Ayame could hear breathing all around here, which registered as odd, because that had never happened before. She slowly stood up, and flew through the old house. Ayame wondered briefly why she was able to move so fast, but that didn't seem important at this time. She slid to a stop inches away from a glass window, which she jumped through, shattering it into a million pieces. She sprinted through her village with breakneck speed, not thinking, just going. Soon she thought she could smell something. Ayame didn't know what it was, but it smelled mouth watering, appetizing... and she was hungry. She could feel the pang in her stomach, and again, didn't think, just set her mind on the task of finding it, and devouring it. She could smell the heavy scent of food, shivering in anticipation as it grew stronger and stronger. Ayame stopped just outside of a building, well built, but small; no match for an intruder. She crept around the perimeter, making sure her prey was inside. Satisfied, she searched for a way in. Finding none, she decided she could simply break a window as she had earlier. Ayame took a guess at which one was closest to the food, and dove. She soared through the air, her mind processing every detail, making it seem as if she was floating, in slow motion. Ayame felt the glass give way, against her body. In the shadows she could see a female shape in the corner. Ayame stalked forward slowly, relishing the growing fear of her dinner... slowly...slowly... She saw the figure reluctantly stand up, as if by moving slowly would keep her away... Such thoughts made Ayame anticipate the kill even more. Suddenly, Ayame grew bored with the stalking, and bounded up to her, and slashed at the female. The clothes ripped with a satisfying tear. As Ayame lunged for the throat she started to bite it, sealing the fate of the girl. She was dead. Ayame walked gracefully over to a closet and laid down in the dark..

Blacier stared at the female and suddenly ran to her and grabbed her leg. He looked up at her and back at her leg
"We're so fucked..."
"Why?" A voice said from behind him. He turned to see who it was, it was Rei. Blacier stood up and faced Rei.
"Because, She isn't going to be human anymore..." Rei walked closer. Blacier suddenly walked closer to her and put a paw on her chest
"Don't get any closer. She's hella dangerous in this stage" Rei looked around him and saw that Ayame was no longer human. She was a wolf like creature almost like Conner, Kane, and Canidane are. Rei stepped back as Blacier pushed her out the door
"Stay hidden.." Rei nodded and ran off. Blacier turned to face the female, but she was gone.

Ayame felt her head smack against the wall, and a sharp piercing sensation in her leg. Blacier was there, and then Kane disappeared. Maybe she was drifting in and out of consciousness, because she didn't see exactly how this happened. Ayame sat up, as best as she could, which wasn't well. She attempted to stand up, but soon realized that wasn't going to happen.

...Kane. He suddenly grabbed her by the neck and picked her up. Kane looked a lot bigger when he was up this close. He was 11ft tall. He put his cold, wet muzzle against her nose and growled.
"Your mine now Bitch..." He threw her across the cabin and began to walk closer to her. Suddenly, Blacier tackled Kane from behind, making him fly into the female. One of his fang's dug into her leg. He turned to smoke again and vanished. Blacier looked at the female with large eyes
"Shit.."

Ayame turned to Rei. "yup." Ayame sighed and turned back towards the center of the village and wondered what had happened to make her night fall apart. Ayame started to walk towards her house, with the thought of going to sleep, and the idea to think about everything in the morning. She slowly turned the knob and turned to look behind her. Ayame heard a creak in the house, and spun back around and found...

Blacier ignored her first two questions and nodded
"Yes, I did. He ran off, or should i say, flew off. I have no true idea where he went, but he CANNOT be trusted.. He is too strong for us to battle agaisnt.. He must be exterminated." Rei looked at both the two and finally spoke
"But.. Why? What is truely wrong with him?" She didn't understand what Kane ment when he said he gave Conner an evil side.
"Conner turns into a pure evil form of himself at night. Like most human's turn into werewolves at night. Same principle." Rei sighed and sat down
"We're screwed..."

Ayame spun around and stared at Blacier, startled by the sudden voice. She sighed loudly. "now who are YOU? What are you doing here?" Ayame looked at Rei, her annoyance showing no end. In reality, she should be afraid. But she wasnt. "Arent you the one who tackled Conner? Where is HE at now?"

Kane laughed at the female
"Yes.. You heard correctly" He took a step closer to the female, smiling evily.
"My name is Kane Smith, I am his grandfather and ruler of this forest" He continued walking closer to her.
"I want him gone.. Eventually his evil side will take over forever and he will be mine!" Kane laughed and turned to smoke. His laugh was still heard and echoed a while after he vanished. Blacier landed behind the female
"Well, Conner cannot be trusted anymore.. He's gone to the dark side.."

Ayame shook her head in confusion. "His evil half?" There was far more at work here than she could imagine. And why was she even involved? "what does that mean? and who are you?"

Conner growled at the female, barked and lunged at her. Suddenly Blacier flew in and tackled Conner in mid-air. Conner didn't even yelp as Blacier tackled him. He growled, rose, and suddenly two AK-47s appeared in both of his handpaws and wings appeared from his back. He flew in the air, pointed the AK-47s at Blacier, and fired at him. Blacier also flew to dodge the bullets. Conner had to reload, which was perfect for Blacier because he could now attack Conner, who landed back on the ground. Blacier smiled and flew toward Conner at full speed and tackled him hard, grabbing a hold of him, and flying off. Rei slowly looked at Ayame
"What the hell is wrong with Conner..?" Kane walked up behind the two
"That isn't Conner.." Rei turned and looked at him
"What do you mean?" Kane walked closer and cracked his neck
"It's his evil half.. Canidane" Rei looked at where Blacier had tackled Conner
"Evil half? How did that happen?" Kane nodded and laughed
"I gave it to him! HA HA!"

Ayame was frozen. Conner had just changed into...something. It was repulsive. and what did he mean, who were they! She had JUST introduced herself. and the other girl, she was with him before. "why dont you take a second to remember!" Ayame hardly knew him, but his attitude then annoyed her. Then again, SOMETHING had happened to him, possibly not his fault. He looked angry at her yelling at him, so she softened her tone, and said, "Ayame."

Rei looked up at the female
"LIKE I WOULD FUCKING KNOW! I JUST MET THE GUY!" she looked at him
"I MEAN THING!" she knelt down and poked his body. He just moaned. She pushed him to roll him over and suddenly his eyes opened. She screamed, jumped up, and quickly stepped back. Conner slowly rose and growled
"Who the hell are you..?" he asked both females.

Ayame walked off, wondering what Conner was doing in her village. now that she knew WHAT he was, she wanted to know why he had come into her village... She was still steaming, but she heard shouting. It sounded like a cry of distress, so she turned around. Even if someone was super annoying, she would still help. She sprinted back up to Conner and Rei. She looked down in terror, and looked over at Rei. "What do we do...?"

Conner suddenly fell to his knees, put his arms around his stomach and began to gasp for air. He looked at Rei with sorrowful eyes. He was scared. He looked back down and started to cough up blood. Rei gasped
"CONNER!" she ran up to him but suddenly stopped. His fur began to change from brown to black. Half of his hair began to change to black as well. It also began to grow longer. The light brown part of his tail began to change to red as the dark brown part began to turn black. His claws turned red as well. He fell flat on his stomach and laid limp. She looked around for the female, but she was gone.
"SOMEONE! ANYONE! HELP!"

Ayame stared at Conner with a confused expression. "A ghost? ARE YOU NUTS?" She turned away and started to walk off. She wouldn't sit here and be insulted in her own village.

Conner looked at the female
"I am an anthro Folf. A wolf/fox hybrid from the planet Wolfen-6." he smiled at her, and began to walk closer.
"I am sorry for startling you, if i did." Rei screamed
"CONNER NO!" he stopped and slowly turned to Rei
"What?" Rei stepped back
"SHES A GHOST!" Conner quickly looked back at the female, eyes wide, and began to step back. He slowly stuck his right arm out, opened a handpaw, and quickly closed it as a wolf looking sword appeared. His clothes began to form into purple like armor. The shoulder pads looked like wolf heads. He had 3 spikes coming out of each shoulder pad. Straps going across his chest and stomach with odd writing in red. His gloves were fingerless. The stomach part of the armor was a sand-looking sand color. The belt was gray with a red orb in the middle and a cloth swinging from the belt. Conner didn't have any boots to his armor, he always was barepawed. He growled.

Ayame bristled as the furry creature stared at her. he had stopped inches away from her, and seemed like he thought he owned the place. that made her angry. She heard the other girl say something, but didnt answer. she continued to stare at the wolf thing. she heard him ask her about the village. "yes" she said "MY village... no one comes here, and no one leaves.. no one has, in almolst 50 years... so why are you here? and for that matter, WHAT are you?"

Kane laughed loudly
"I am not trying to kill you human, i am willing to team with you and help you kill others... that is if you help me kill one person.. or should i say creature like me.." Kane walked a couple of steps away and turned back at him
"So, i know where he is.. ready?"

Looking behind him when he heard a voice he let out a soft sigh. Turning to face the thing he perked up an eye brow. " Do you think that you really can kill me . . . . I would love to see you try." Saying that as he drew his blade back out. Looking at him he could tell a lot of things, like the fact that he had little fighting skills. Nykyrian knew thus would be a easy kill, that is if he wanted to kill him. Killing this thing wouldn't do anything but waste his time, he would only do harm to the point were he can't move from the pain.

Conner stopped when the female spoke. Rei kind of giggled and said
"Harsh.." Conner stared at the female for a while before he spoke
"My name is Conner Hemming, I am a Anthro Folf from Wolfen-6, And i am in your village because a flew over the gate and we followed him in" Rei sprinted up to Conner and looked at him, then back at the female.
"Wait.. Your village!?"

Kane appeared near Nykyrian and smiled
"I see you like killing huh?" he laughed
"So do i.."

Nykyrian walked right up behind the man. Noiseless, wearing all black, he was hidden within the darkness of the night. Drawing his blade slowly he slyly then doubled his pace and thrusts his blade into the spine of the man and dragged it up. Cutting the upper part of him in twp. Blood vomited out as the the man then fell to the ground. Pouring out the man died the second Nykyrian saw him. This man was also got away with the rape and murder of a fifteen year old girl. Never again would anyone get away with it. if the legal system wont to it, he will. Tacking a cloth out he whipped the warm fresh blood from his prized blade, the blade that has kill more than a thousand souls. Sighing he looked at the man from his shades and shook his head. " You died the minuet you thought you could get away with murder and rape." Saying that in a emotionless deadpan voice. Nykyrian, was known as black heart, but no one knew the face of Black Heart so he would be able to walk around freely without worrying about someone knowing who he was. His eyes were hidden by a pair of shades and the rest of his face was covered as well. After his blade was cleaned his placed it back into it's shield hiding it from the word. With that he walked into the shadows and into the town. The body wold be found in sometime, and the father of the girl would known that the man is dead for what he had done.

Ayame saw the figures looking at her. when the furry one stopped a few yards away, she hear the girl, barely, say "she's alive." Of course she was alive...what reason had she to be dead? When he started to walk towards Ayame, her eyes widened, for she had NEVER seen such a creature. She decided she'd stay there, unwilling to flee. Conner was still walking towards her, quickly covering the distance between them. The other girl stayed as she was, gaping at Ayame. Ayame stared up into Conner's eyes for a moment, then snickered quietly, before curtsying to him. "How do you do, fine sir." She giggled. Not because he was making her nervous, but because she didn't usually talk like that. usually she talked like anyone else. but he made her want to be sweet, even if she didn't know why. The suddenly she stopped laughing, because it wasn't funny anymore. "who are you, what are you, and why are you in my village?"

Blacier was long gone. Rei slowly closed the gate behind them and took off, following Conner. He skided to a stop in the center of town, staring right at Ayame. Rei slowed her run to a walk and looked at Conner.
"What's wrong?" she asked him. Conner slowly rose his right arm and pointed at the other female in the area. Rei slowly looked to where he was pointing and gasped.
"She's.. Alive.." Conner slowly started to walk closer to the female.

Not another dream... Ayame vaugly thought as her mind drifted from one bloody scene to another. Lately she's been haunted by images of wolves, and shadows, and such. She didnt know why, if it was just something her mind was using to play with her, or if there was a reason to it. She jumped up out of her bed, upright, and fully awake in only miliseconds. She didnt know WHY that had happened, but it had. So, she decided, since she was awake, she would go get some water... Her throat was BURNING. She walked through the tiny hallways of her house, past her parents, nestled up on floor in the main room. The floor creaked with each step. She tried to keep her steps light, but no. Luckily, neither of them woke up demanding answers, or sending her back to the solitude of her room. In fact, neither of then even STIRRED. She was drinking a cup of water, when she heard the loud noise. it was like, running footsteps, followed by a high pitched squeaking. her mind couldnt make a connection. Her usually silent village had someone running through it. But, she thought, thats a normal thing for other places... But she had a feeling there was something off about THESE steps. Having come to that conclusion, Ayame ran outside, and in general direction she was sure it had come from. She stopped short of the town center, where the blow had taken place. She stood there, in awe. In shock. She saw figures sprinting from the distance, and she didnt move an inch.

Conner was walking around a new part of the woods, stopping and sniffing the air every once in a while. It was getting dark and Conner had to use his wolf eyes to see in the dark. He started to smell something foul and he flattened his ears. He slowly continued walking towards the smell
"What is that nasty digus-" Conner yelped as he tripped over something and fell face first in the dirt. He slowly rolled over and looked where he tripped, a camera laid there
"Huh? That's weird..." He crawled closed to it and sniffed it. It ALSO smelled very foul. He picked it up and glared at it
"This must be a million years old" He looked around
"I wonder who left it here and why they haven't come back for it..." he looked back at the camera. He tilted his head in curiosity, he wanted to know how it worked. He glared into it and looked around. It started to vibrate. He pulled it away from his face, spun it around and noticed a little glass part of the camera was glowing red. He tilted his head in curiosity once again and looked through it, he saw two men standing not to far away. He pulled the camera away and continued staring, the men were gone. His eyes widened and he looked back into the camera, the men were even closer. The camera vibrated and glowed more and more as the two men got closer. When one of the men reached for him, he screamed, dropped the camera, and bolted off. As he ran, he looked back for a quick second. When he turned around, he ran into someone, or something, and yelped, falling on his back. He sat up and shook his head, trying to un-fuzzify his vision.
"Sorry about that ma-" he stopped himself as the female rose. Her eyes widened and so did Conner's. They sat in silence. Conner was the first to speak. The female still had her eyes widened.."Um, sorry.." he said. The female stepped back. Conner rose and dusted himself off"Don't worry miss, I'm not a bad creature.." then female stopped and slowly opened her mouth"W-What are you..?" she slowly started to walk closer to Conner."I'm a Folf, it's a wolf/fox hybrid" her mouth closed and she stopped walking towards him."W-What were you running from?" he looked back behind him, forgetting all about the camera."it's a long story..." he smiled, showing his fangs, and making the woman quickly step back. Conner stopped smiling and looked behind him again, making sure those two men weren't after him."Please tell.." she responded. Conner sighed and leaned against a tree, then took a deep breath and said"Well I was just walking around the woods not to far from here, I started to smell something very foul..." she nodded, showing Conner she understood."And I tripped over a really old camera, and I picked it up. The camera is what smelled so foul, so i-""Wait, old camera?" she interrupted. Conner nodded."Hmm... I wonder if it's the Camera Obscura..." she whispered to herself. Conner continued on,"Anyways, I looked in through it to see if it still worked, and it seemed to have worked a little too well..""What do you mean?" she asked. Conner looked back from where he came once more, then back at the female,"I saw two men, and when I took the camera from my face, they were gone.. when I looked back through it again, one of the men was reaching for me… and as they got closer, the camera was glowing red and vibrating more and more.." the female suddenly walked closer to Conner."You MUST show me this camera!!" she demanded. Conner sighed and turned,"Follow me..." he started to walk from where he found the camera. It was easy for him to remember where it was because of how foul it smelled. Conner looked at the female. She was walking next to him,"By the way, I'm Conner, Conner Hemming.." she smiled and looked at Conner"I'm Rei, Rei Kurosawa.." Conner smiled and so did Rei. Conner's ears fell flat again.
"Ugh... It's that foul smell again..." Rei looked at Conner. She was confused because she didn't smell it and she wondered why only he did. It was obvious though because he had a better nose than she did.
"Here it is Rei.." he picked the camera up and handed it to her. She smiled again,
"Thanks Conner.." she examined the camera for about 15 minutes before she spoke,
"Yep, this is the Camera Obscura.." she signed and handed it back to Conner. He looked at it and back at Rei, and then back at the camera.
"So what IS this camera? A devil camera??" he asked her. She laughed.
"Well I think of it like that. It is more like an exorcist type camera. It kills ghosts by taking pictures of them and sucking the spirits up" Conner gulped.
"You mean those men were... Ghosts?" she nodded and turned around.
"There must be a mansion or village around here..." she looked around, then she turned back to Conner,
"May I see the camera?" she asked. He nodded and handed her the camera and leaned back against a tree. She put it against her face, looking in it, and looked around. Conner got a disgusted look on his face
'Ugh.. How can she stand that awful smell...!' he thought to himself. She turned back to Conner.
"Well this camera sure is picking up something.. Shall we go look around?" Conner shrugged
"Doesn't hurt, right?" she laughed a little
"Yeah.. It just might.." He tilted his head in curiosity
"What do you mean?" she sighed.
"Well, I used this camera about 6 years ago.. And I got stuck in a manor called 'The Manor of Sleep'."
"Manor of Sleep?" Conner asked, tilting his head once more. She nodded and started to walk away. Conner followed.
"The Manor Of Sleep is a manor that resides in Japan. If you have lost someone very dear to you, you dream about this mansion. It may seem to be a dream, but it's not, it's real." Conner gulped. Rei stopped walking, turned around, and looked at him.
"What's wrong Conner?" Conner slowly pointed to something behind Rei. She turned around. Conner stepped back,
"K-Kane..."
"Run.." Conner said as he was stepping back. Rei looked at Conner
"What?" Conner turned and bolted off
“REI! RUN!!" Rei turned and looked at the giant black werewolf like creature that stood before her. She gulped
"H-Hello.." the wolf laughed and picked her up by the neck
"Hello human.." he said in a deep voice. He threw her on the ground to the side, hard, and disintegrated into black smoke. Rei slowly leaned and looked up, watching the smoke fly away. She fell back to the ground, passing out from the pain. Meanwhile, Conner was still running away. He looked behind him to make sure Rei was following him, but she wasn't. He slowed his run into a walk.
"Shit Rei.. Why didn't you follow me..?" he stopped walking and looked up, his ears fell flat on his head.
"Damn.. I thought Kane was dead..." Conner looked down at his foot-paws and sighed
"What am I going to do.. I'm not strong enough to fight Kane.." Conner looked back up, straight ahead. He tilted his head. Something was lit up ahead.
"People.." His ears shot right back up, straight up, and his tail wagged. People meant safety. He got down on all fours and ran as fast as he could, straight for the light. Suddenly, the black smoke appeared in front of Conner, making him dig his claws into the dirt and slide right into Kane. Kane picked Conner up by his throat.
"Kane.. I don't want to fight you..” Conner said, gasping for air.
"Well, I do.." he threw Conner against a tree, making him Conner yelp. Conner fell to the ground and slowly leaned up.
"Please Kane.. I don't want to fight my grandfather.." Kane laughed.
"But I disowned you years ago.." Kane started to walk closer to Conner, but suddenly stopped, turned into smoke, and flew off. Conner tilted his head, slowly rose, and looked around.
"What, the hell, just happened!?" Conner looked around some more before he shrugged and started to walk towards the lights. He smiled. He was glad that Kane was gone. He didn't have to fight. He could finally go a day without killing something. Conner stopped his walking and lowered his ears again.
"Ugh.. I semll that damn camera.." he looked around before he continued to slowly walk. He didn't want to run because he just might trip and fall on his face, again. It started to rain. Conner sighed and pulled the hood attached to his trench coat onto his head.
"I.. Hate.. Water.." he began to jog. Eventually he made it to a giant gate. He looked around before walking closer. His tail started to wag again. He started to reach for the gate.
"I wouldn’t go in there if I were you.." a female said from behind him. Conner turned around and smiled, tail wagging more. It was Rei. He felt safer around her for some reason. She was holding the Camera Obscura. She walked closer to Conner
"This seems like the village my friend Kei told me about.." Conner turned and looked at the gate that stood before him.
"What do you mean?" Conner asked as he turned to face her. Rei sighed and looked at the camera in her hands
"He.. He said.. That his neice.. Was trapped in a village like this.. And lost her sister because of it.. The ghosts here.. Hypnotized her.. And.." Conner put his paw on her shoulder.
"Say no more.. I won’t go in.." Rei looked at Conner and smiled. Rei smiled as Conner took his paw off her shoulder
"Thanks Conner" Conner nodded and started to walk away from the village, Rei followed. A purple and black creature with a purple circle and scar around his right eye, purple eyes, purple tips of his long spikey hair, black horns, purple ears, black fur, and half purple wings was watching the two walk away from the trees near the village. He was a Thel, a newly discovered creature. It was a hybrid of a cat, goat, and dragon. His name was Blacier Reiwinn (pronounced Black Ear Ray Win). He smiled and followed the two, still hidden in the trees. Conner stopped and looked in the direction that Blacier was at. He growled. Rei stopped, and looked at Conner. She was ahead of him.
"What's wrong Conner?" Blacier knew he was caught, so he gave up and walked out from the trees. Rei didn't look as surprised as she did when she met Conner. Blacier stopped when he was 10ft away from the two. Conner stopped growling, he knew Blacier wasn't a villain. Blacier was the first to speak.
"Hello, I've been watching you two for a while now.." He said. His voice was deep and raspy. Conner rose an eyebrow
"And why is that?" Conner asked. Blacier just smiled. "I am looking for a certain werewolf, and you lead me to him." Conner looked surprised
"You were looking for Kane?" he asked. Blacier nodded
"So you're the one who scared him off?" Blacier nodded once more
"He knows im made out of pure darkness just like he is" Conner nodded. Because Blacier was made out of pure darkness, Kane would die. Darkness can only be hurt by darkness.
"I want him dead.." Conner walked closer to Blacier and put his paw on his shoulder.
"Trust me, we all want Kane dead.. But why you?" Blacier looked down and clenched his paws in anger.
"He killed my family and friends.. My whole village.. Everyone i knew and loved.." Conner patted his shoulder and took his paw off it.
"He killed mine too.." Rei walked over
"Wait.. Village? You mean the village right over there?" she pointed at the village gate. Blacier nodded and looked over at the village.
"Thats my home.." Conner looked over as well.
"So the village was made up of oth-" A scream was heard from inside the village. Conner, Blacer and Rei all looked at eachother. Blacier took off towards the village. Rei gasped
"No! Wait!!" She ran after him. Conner sighed and ran after Rei. Blacier opened his wings and flew over the gate. Rei and Conner skidded to a stop.
"Damn.. What an idiot.." The gate started to open towards the two. Conner walked closer to the gate as it opened. The gate only pushed open enough for the two to get through. Conner walked inside. Rei sighed
"Seems like we gotta go in anyways..." Rei walked in and the gate shut behind her. They were inside the village.
